 Plantation Blend, Black Gold's latest addition to their performance line, is a 24% protein and 18% fat formula specifically formulated for rigorous training and the sometimes harsh environment facing the working dog. This field-proven blend supplies maximum energy and endurance to the sporting dog. The protein is adjusted for "cool running." By lowering the quality beef, chicken, and corn meal proteins from historic 26-30% levels, heat calories are drastically reduced. By reducing the protein and adding Vitamin C ester, the dog's peak energy level and hours of enhanced performance are extended. Number 1 grade chicken fat replenishes energy stores and helps maintain proper muscle mass and weight-retention required by professionals. Black Gold Plantation Blend contains the proper levels of Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids plus 350 mg/kg of Glucosamine and 100 mg/kg of Chondroitin.
